OLA (“Outsourced Legal Assistance”) Immigration is an outsourcing service that provides English-Spanish bilingual legal assistants trained in immigration law to licensed immigration attorneys.

 OLA Immigration also provides application support services for US visa applicants, facilitation of consultations with a US licensed immigration attorney, and translation/interpretation services to its local community in Nicaragua.

OLA Immigration legal assistants are trained in reception and client communication, immigration application assembly, data entry, and a variety of software that support case management. If we have not yet used the program you use, we are happy to learn and adapt quickly.

OLA Immigration was created by a young woman and mother, Ashley Suazo who has spent much of her life in the realm of US immigration, both professionally and personally.  Ashley is the daughter of Honduran immigrants, and the wife of a Nicaraguan immigrant. She has a Master of Science in International Relations & Global Studies and has spent 10 years working in immigration-related professions in the United States.

OLA Immigration was born when Ashley moved to San Juan del Sur, Nicaragua in search of work-life balance and a new way to professionally serve the needs of the U.S. immigrant community. After a year of consulting with locals about their US immigration-related needs, Ashley formed OLA Immigration to assist potential immigrants as well as swamped U.S.-based immigrant attorneys. As a bonus, OLA Immigrations is proud to provide job opportunities for professional, bilingual Nicaraguan nationals in a U.S. consumer market.

Prior to forming OLA Immigration, worked for years in a variety of immigration-related professional roles. She’s been a paralegal, a BIA accredited representative, a paralegal supervisor, and a designated school immigration official at a higher education institution. She understands the business-end challenges of running an immigration practice and can still genuinely relate to and empathize with the immigrant experience.
